Playing tips

Another wonderful example of revelation brought by my Friend, which is the Guitar.
First chord is denoted B/A, however to sound it similar to the one on the album
(to which you are referred to, as always) play it like it is shown below. Same applies
to the third chord - Em7/A, but I play it simply not using my left arm at all for this
specific position. In other words, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strings are taken on 4th fret,
then same position is on 2nd fret, and the other strings are open. Check for yourself
whether this approach works for F and F# as well.

B/A	x 0 4 4 4 0 (or 0 0 4 4 4 0)
Em7/A	0 0 0 0 0 0
Cadd9	x 3 2 0 3 0

INTRO: { B/A A Em7/A F# F } x4

B/A A
I never thought it could come to this,

Em7/A F# F
  as you sit there crying,

B/A A
  hanging on with your fingertips

    Em7/A F# F
to something that's already dead.

C F# E E E
  Now we're into a game

         D A E x2
and it's all a bit strange.

B/A A
  Once on a time   we were sincere;

Em7/A F# F
  now, we're acting charades,

B/A A
  hiding behind cracked images

Em7/A F# F
  from other people's stages;

C F# E E E
  now, we're into a game,

         D A E
and it's all a bit strange,

 D A E
but familiar, too...

     D A E D A E
the rules never change; I know it, but do you?

D A E G C D G C D

        D G E
Let's stop it now.

      C Cadd9 D
I've seen it all before,

           C Cadd9 D D
and this play no longer moves me,

          C Cadd9 D
but the closing of a door

    C Cadd9 D
is never ea - sy.

{ B/A A Em7/A F# F } x3

B/A A
Look at the cards in your hands:

Em7/A F# F
  kings turned to jokers.

B/A A
There are no prizes for laughing:

Em7/A F# F
  situation hopeless.

C F# E
  Now we're into a game

         D A E
and it's all a bit strange,

 D A E
but familiar, too...

     D A E D A E
the rules never change; I know it, but do you?

D A E G C D G C D

        D G E
Let's stop it now.

B/A A Em7/A F# F
It's no good looking to me for reassurance.

B/A A
I'm tired and don't need you to show me

Em7/A F# F b
  your bruised innocence.

Same base chord sequence (played by drums'n'bass + piano) is used during long
ending through which Peter sings "Into a game, into a game....", which
eventually fades out.
